Teaching Assistant Year 2 - Wakefield

Are you a Teaching Assistant with a passion for educating young minds with experience of Year 2 pupils wanting a long-term placement?

Reed Education Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to work on a long-term basis at a primary school in the Wakefield area which is commutable from Pontefract, Castleford, Knottingley and other surrounding areas including Leeds.

This is a full-time role supporting a group of four Year 2 pupils with autism and the potential support to other year groups.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

• Experience of working in a Year 2 class room setting
• Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Positive and outgoing attitude with a passion for supporting young minds
