We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely school in Warrington, with a great reputation for maximising their pupils potential. This is a fixed term position for the rest of the academic year.

Communication skills are essential for this Teaching Assistant role, as you will need to effectively communicate with children, parents and other staff. You will also be expected to develop positive relationships with children and staff, in order to assist in their progress and attainment. A positive approach to managing children's behaviour is also required.

The Teaching Assistant will endeavour to ensure the pupils under their care are excited about coming to school each day and are eager to progress, whilst also progressing their own career. You will be given opportunities to build your experience, gain new CPD & training and ultimately to enhance your own career. At the end of the fixed term further opportunities will be available to move into a permanent role with the school and to continue your journey with them.

You will ideally need:

  • A Level 3 qualification (relevant experience is also considered)
  • A passion for working with children,
  • To promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Work under the guidance of the Class Teacher and support with planning, assessment and evaluating of childrens progress
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • An enhanced DBS - We can support with this if you dont already have one.
