Leatherhead - Teaching Assistant - Special Needs

£350 to £400 per week - term time only

An outstanding special school for primary aged children with Learning and Additional Needs that may include and language difficulties, autism, physical difficulties and/or medical needs.

The school has a solid reputation for providing teachers and teaching support staff with the tools and assistance to instil a strong learning culture in their classrooms. Furthermore, there is the school-based opportunity to study towards and qualify as a Teacher.

Working within SEN is incredibly rewarding but requires out of the box thinkers who are able to see beyond the labels of disability and uncover each child's potential and love for learning.

You will need:

  • An understanding of the need to support pupils with additional needs
  • Experience with children
  • Adaptability, motivation and initiative
