Presenting an absolutely fantastic opportunity to join a lovely school based in Swindon who are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can also hold MDSA responsibilities.

Role and Responsibilities:

The role will be varied, and involve supporting pupils in their learning and teachers in the delivery of the curriculum. You will be expected to provide a high standard of childcare and education within the framework of school policies and practices in a stimulating and friendly environment. Responsibilities will include caring for the children, liaising with the class teacher as required for guidance in supporting development and participating in activities designed to meet the children's physical, emotional and learning needs. As this role also includes MDSA responsibilities you will be required to supervise all pupil behaviour during the lunch break and be responsible for the pupil's care as necessary.

The role will begin on April 15th and is a fixed term contract until April 2025.

Requirements:

A successful candidate will be experienced at working with children in an educational or care setting. Those who show genuine interest and enthusiasm about supporting the children's teaching and learning will be considered as a great fit for the role and school. You must hold a GCSE minimum Grade C in English or Maths and be able to commute to an SN3 postcode.
