Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (Temporary-to-Permanent)

Contract Type: Temp to permanent
Hours: 08:30-15:15
Salary: £85-90 per day (salary will be discussed after 12 working weeks)

Role Overview: As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of our pupils. Your role will involve assisting in the classroom, working with small groups, and providing one-on-one support to children with varying needs. You’ll play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with class teachers to deliver effective lessons and activities.
• Support pupils with their learning, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Assist in planning and preparing resources.
• Provide individualized support to children with additional needs.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive school environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children (e.g., in a school, nursery, or similar setting).
• A passion for education and a desire to make a difference.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
• Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
