GSL are recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant for a friendly school in the Grays area, this role will be with children with SEMH and behavioural needs and you will provide the support they need to thrive and learn and be a positive role model. 

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our mission to create an environment where every student can thrive academically and personally, regardless of their social, emotional, or mental health challenges. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualized support and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.

Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Salary Scale: £80-£100

Responsibilities:
 

  • As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs. 

  • Implement strategies and interventions to support the social and emotional development of students.
