Teaching Assistant Litherland

We are currently looking for multiple Teaching professionals, both with and without experience to contribute to the personal and educational progress of students across Sefton! Working Hours: 08:00-16:00PM Mon-Fri dependant on school needs.

Salary: £80-£100 per day

Location: Bootle, Sefton, Merseyside

What do you need?

• A desire to work with children and guide their learning development
• Passion to help support Special Needs
• Aspirations to become a teacher (not essential)
• Availability to work school hours (between 8:30am - 4pm)
• A fully enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
• Some relevant experience working with children / young people (preferable)

About the role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivery of various subjects/activities
• Support each child based on their individual needs
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with children and staff
• Open, clear communication
• Adhering to safeguarding regulation
• Liaising with parents when necessary
• Assessing children progress and actively suggesting areas of improvement/support to class teacher
