Teach Plus are currently working with a mainstream primary school located in Hayes, West London who are recruiting a Primary KS1 Teacher to take on full classroom responsibilities for a Year 2 class. This school are committed to providing the best education and life experiences for all children. All staff and pupils value and respect one another and treat each other with kindness and dignity.
In April 2022 they received a good Ofsted grading, where leaders have developed a well-planned, ambitious and exciting curriculum. This school has taken in consideration of pupils individual needs in order for them to learn. Pupils within the school show great enthusiasm towards learning and are well behaved during lessons.
For this role, you will need to plan fun and exciting lesson plans which keeps pupils engaged during lessons, ensure you provide additional support for pupils to learn, attend regular meetings to ensure relevant training is up to date, and work alongside parents/carers and other support networks for each individual pupil.
As a Primary KS1 Teacher you will be required to:
- Provide a fun and positive learning environment where pupils feel safe
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons
- Carry out assessments for children
- Show a genuine passion for pupils development
- Create EHCP plans for pupils with SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team Player
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Be creative within the classroom
- Have strong organisational skills
The ideal candidate for the Primary KS1 Teacher role will have:
- At least 3 years' experience teaching within KS1, ideally with some Year 2 Class Teaching experience
- UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS
- DBS to be on the update service - Must be child work force
- Right to work within the UK - Overseas criminal clearance
