Are you a qualified and experienced teacher who can work with pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD)? Do you have a passion for supporting young people who face various challenges in their education and life? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!

Reed Education is recruiting a BESD teacher to join a special school based in Aberdare. The school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with a range of needs and abilities. The school aims to provide a safe and supportive learning environment where pupils can develop their academic, social and emotional skills.

The role is a full-time post starting after Easter, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The pay rate is £157.66+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one

- Experience or training in working with BESD pupils

- A positive and flexible attitude

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
