Engage Education is currently working with a school in Barking and Dagenham who are actively seeking a Teacher of Performing Arts to join their expanding team to start in September 2024. This will be a permanent position for an experienced or ECT Teacher of Drama, Dance and or Music.
The incoming Performing Arts Teacher will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject. The school requires the ideal candidate to have experience teaching either Drama and/or Drama and Music at both Key Stage 3 and 4. Experience of teaching A-Level would be beneficial as the school has recently opened a 6th form.

You must:
- Hold QTS
- Have experience delivering Performing Arts across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
- Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning within an Performings Arts Department to a high standard
