Are you an enthusiastic Teacher of the Performing Arts?

Are you looking for a 'half a term role' for after the Easter break?

Academics are currently working in close partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Academy in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic Performing Arts Teacher.

This particular academy is known for its well-designed curriculum; providing many creative opportunities for all of its students. It also offers an excellent CPD provision for all of the school's in-house teaching staff.

The Role

  • Start date is Monday 8th April 2024.
  • Full Time.
  • Work is guaranteed until Friday 24th May 2024.

Role Requirements

  • Hold the relevant Performing Arts/Drama/Music qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Have strong classroom/behaviour management and you can easily build good rapport with students.
  • Deliver exciting and engaging performing arts lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the current national curriculum.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
