Engage Education is currently working with a school in Barking and Dagenham who are expanding and looking for an experienced Teacher of Maths to take on the role of Head of Key Stage 4 Mathematics. This is a permanent post in an expanding secondary school in Barking and Dagenham and would suit an experienced teacher looking for their first leadership role or a current Head of Key Stage who is looking for a fresh challenge.

The incoming Head of Key Stage 4 Maths will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject. You will have the ambition to lead CPD and bring new ideas to the department whilst developing the curriculum for Key Stage 4 Mathematics.

Key Information:

• Area: Barking and Dagenham
• Salary Expectations: (Inner London) M1-UPS3 + TLR

You must:

• Hold QTS
• Have at least 4 years of experience delivering Mathematics across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
• Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning within a Maths department at Key Stage 4.
