We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our team in September 2024.

The Maths department at our College in London prides itself on its academic rigour. Concepts and theories are taught to a high level, and students are expected to use a range of methods that best suits their learning styles. The department is lively - teachers are encouraged to discuss techniques and share resources for both the improvement of themselves and students. We are professional and hard-working but always work with good humour. Many of our students progress onto courses at universities here and abroad.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Preparing and delivering high-quality and engaging lessons.
  • Facilitating the school’s goal of high student academic achievement.
  • Informing parents about pupil progress.
  • Engaging in the school’s pastoral care and well-being programmes for all pupils.
  • Engaging in appraisals and reviews and taking part in training and development.

Qualifications and Experience

Teaching international students at GCSE and A-level should be a passion for you and to be considered for this position you must hold a degree-level qualification, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance and proof of right to work in the UK. Knowledge of the appropriate curricula would also be beneficial.
