VNA Education is currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher to deliver key stages 3 and 4 computer science lessons, for a permanent position for an amazing secondary school located in Greenwich.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess and maintain a deep and secure knowledge of the subject, with openness to a more hands-on approach to the curriculum.
• Create a challenging and stimulating classroom environment to motivate pupils.
• Be aware of the learning needs of your students, ensuring each one has every opportunity to fulfil their potential.
• Possess the passion to teach and make a difference.
• Contribute to the Computer Science department, providing vision, direction, and support to colleagues.
• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons, inspiring and engaging students.
• Monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field of Computer Science and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level, with a track record of excellent results.
• A passion for Computer Science education and a commitment to providing an outstanding learning experience for students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

The successful candidate will be joining the school’s Computer Science Department and teaching Computer Science at Key Stage KS3 and KS4 in a lovely school with a great Senior Leadership Team.
