The school in Redbridge is on the lookout for a dedicated Secondary School Computer Science teacher to join their dynamic teaching team in an Ofsted rated outstanding secondary school. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the overall development of secondary school students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Salary : £34,514 - £46,001

Area : Redbridge

Start : September 2024

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum

• Punctual and reliable

• Teach classes allocated and provide a well-planned challenging, purposeful learning environment

• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning

• Set homework and mark promptly

• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place

• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures

• Respond to questioning

• Strong classroom management

• Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour

• Be an inspiring and engaging communicator

Personal attributes:

• Experience up to key stage 3/4 - KS5 - Desirable

• QTS/PGCE equivalent

• Be flexible and committed
