Academics have just been contacted by a large secondary School in Folkestone who are seeking a Teacher of Business Studies to join them in September 2024. The school have fantastic facilities and resources and offers a great working environment to its staff.

This post would likely suit a newly qualified teacher with full support and induction provided, or someone with previous experience in a similar role, looking for an opportunity to develop their career in a forward thinking and ambitious school.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified Teacher (QTS - PGCE, B.Ed, GTP)
  • Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum
  • Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Business Studies
  • Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject
  • Be able to motivate their students
  • Be committed to high standards for both staff and students
  • Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
  • Have excellent knowledge/experience of teaching Business Studies
