Tax Senior

Exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior to join our client, an Accountancy Practice located in Huddersfield on a full time, permanent basis. The chosen Tax Senior will be responsible for providing support to clients in managing their personal tac affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximising tax efficiency.

Tax Senior Position Overview

• Responsible for providing support to clients in managing their personal tax affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximising tax efficiency
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure all relevant information is included in SA returns
• Provide tax planning advice to clients to minimise tax liabilities
• Be able to keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure continued compliance
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any queries or concerns regarding their tax affairs
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processed and improve overall efficiency
• The role requires a strong understanding of tax laws, excellent organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Assist the Tax Manager/Director with adhoc assignments for our high wealth clients
• Manage their own portfolio of personal tax clients

Tax Senior Position Requirements

Previous experience working in tax preparation required, preferably 5+ years

ATT qualified, CTA qualified or qualified by experience preferred

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Tax Senior Position Remuneration

Salary brackets £30-£40k dependant on experience /qualification

Hours 37.5 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)

Annual leave 24 days + bank holidays
