Are you a Tax Senior experienced in the specialist area of Trust accounting with additional generalised experience across mixed tax? Or perhaps you’re a Semi Senior with similar skills in tax looking to progress your career? If so, we are pleased to be recruiting into an exciting Tax Senior Job in London that might be your perfect next professional step.

You’ll be ATT qualified/studying or QBE as a minimum (CTA. STEP, ACCA/ACA/ or CA is a distinct advantage) and have at least 3 years of general accounting experience with some of it in a tax-based role. You will be certain that you want your career to progress and continue to excel in a tax based role.

This Tax Senior job in London will suit someone who is self-motivated, confident, knowledgeable, and excited to be an integral part of a close-knit team at a trusted independent firm who have thrown out the rule book when it comes to the traditional way to offer accountancy services and instead approaches each client with fresh eyes and a tailored strategy to help them achieve their goals.

Job Purpose

  • To prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns for UK and overseas clients..
  • Handle ad hoc tax matters including the the filing of financial statements.
  • To support the Tax Managers with all ad hoc tasks.
  • CT600 work.
  • ATED.
  • VAT.
  • Property rental returns.
  • Oversee a portfolio of varied clients, be aware of workflow and the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with points of contact for the portfolio, building strong client relationships.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team.
  • Offering learning and development opportunities as a mentor to junior staff.
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Networking and business development.
