You’ll have a proven track record of managing your own client portfolio, including overseeing workflow and building strong rapport with clients. You will be technically minded and commercially aware.

Job Purpose

  • Prepare tax assignments for a diverse range of private clients.??
  • Liaise with clients and provide guidance to support their tax activities.??
  • P11D and P11D(b) preparation.
  • Reconciling tax liabilities.
  • Coding notices.
  • Collating rental accounts.
  • Capital gains calculations.
  • Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure client expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Liaise with HMRC.
  • Oversee the work of junior staff, ensuring a high standard of service is being delivered.
  • Become actively involved with the business development of the firm, promoting the business online and in person.
  • Setting an example to junior staff, motivating those around you.

Job Requirements

  • ATT qualified or QBE.
  • Experience within a mixed tax role would also be considered, with training provided.
  • Previous leadership experience with good people management skills.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
