The Tax Semi Senior will play a critical role in managing the tax affairs for a diverse portfolio of clients, while also contributing to the smooth operation of the tax department in our Kent office.

Client Details

Our client is a prominent player in the professional services industry, with a broad national footprint.

Description

  • Prepare and review tax returns and computations.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
  • Provide tax planning advice and identify opportunities for clients.
  • Correspond with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Assist with tax investigations and enquiries.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations.

Profile

A successful Tax Semi Senior should have:

  • A degree in a finance-related field.
  • Professional qualifications or part qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Experience in a tax role within a professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent client management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
