This multi-office firm of accountants in Central England are seeking a talented tax accountant with extensive tax knowledge, skill and experience with a view to offering a Tax Partner job in Walsall.

You’ll ideally be CTA qualified, an exceptional communicator, a confident leader and a friendly addition for this partnership.

Job Purpose
  • Manage the tax department, overseeing and motivating the team.
  • Strategic oversight of the tax department.
  • Work closely with a varied client portfolio, ensuring client tax expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Lead client liaison on all matters of tax including regular meetings, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
  • Maintain professional knowledge in line with changes to tax legislation.
  • Advise clients on all matters of complex tax.
  • Departmental billing.
  • Confidently network and scope for potential growth of the tax department.
  • Work closely with fellow partners on strategy and business development.
  • Set an example to the team as a natural leader.

The Successful Applicant
  • CTA qualified or qualified by significant tax experience in practice.
  • Previous senior management experience.
  • Experience of strategic leadership.
  • Previous experience building trusted relationships within a client facing role.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
