Tax Manager Job VacancyWhat we’re looking for

We represent a thriving firm of accountants tasked with finding a talented Tax Manager to oversee a large, growing and global employment tax provision.

This role will suit an ambitious tax accountant, committed to professional development and excited to provide an enhanced level of service to a large portfolio of employment tax clients who employ staff globally.

We are searching for a confident, technically excellent, and motivated tax accountant who can ensure their team is providing technical excellence, meeting deadlines and maintaining an enhanced level of service. In a pivotal management position, you will also be able to monitor workflow and lead and inspire a team.

Job Purpose

  • Managing the day-to-day workings of a busy employment tax department.
  • Managing a team of talented tax accountants.
  • Meeting with clients to provide tax advisory services.
  • Providing technical and compliance support to the Partners on all aspects of employment taxation.
  • Assist with tax planning projects.
  • Attendance at networking events and identifying opportunities to sell additional services to existing clients & prospective new clients.
  • Run and present at internal training meetings.
  • Manage the financial implications of client work including recoveries, identification of additional work to be billed for and selling this to clients, to identify and chase late payment of fees.
  • Encourage, support, and mentor junior team members, overseeing professional development and championing customer service excellence.
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients and be confident in presenting and discussing them at Partner level.
  • Offering first class communication internally and externally both written and verbal.
