About the Role:

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of taxation? Join us as a Tax Junior at McLintocks, a leading accountancy firm in Birkenhead, Wirral. In this role, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, assisting in various tax-related tasks and gaining valuable experience along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Tax Junior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns for a diverse range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Supporting in the preparation of rental income and expenditure accounts.
  • Contributing to Capital Gains Tax calculations.
  • Assisting with Trust tax returns and Business Tax computations.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring accurate data collection and confidentiality.
  • Supporting the wider firm with additional duties as required.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree or A-levels in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
  • Strong organisational skills, motivation, and proficiency in using computers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and meet multiple deadlines.
