Achieve Professionals are searching for an Accounts and Tax Manager for our client in Tunbridge Wells.

As an Accounts and Tax Manager, your role is to build relationships with clients and to have a direct responsibility of client accounts and tax portfolios. You will be responsible for the delivery of an outstanding service to our clients and driving an organisational culture where people are strongly connected to the businesses vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and finalize both unincorporated and incorporated accounts.
  • Evaluate tax computations for both corporation tax and income tax.
  • Identify and assess tax planning opportunities for our diverse range of clients.
  • Review Management Information, including management accounts and cash flows.
  • Provide support in managing junior and administrative staff.
  • Collaborate with our audit and assurance department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • ACA (preferred) or ACCA qualified.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a practice environment.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confidence in conducting client meetings.
  • Efficient time management to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Dedication to delivering professional client service excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax and accounts.
  • Proficient in cloud accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
