Tax Administration Officer

For over 3 decades we have provided tax and legal advice to some of the UK’s most notable businesses, charities and individuals and we are adding a tax assistant to our established tax team to provide high level accurate support out our tax managers.

The role combines a competitive salary and 25 days AL (plus bank holidays and a Christmas shut down), with a number of opt in benefits and access to industry recognised training packages and some hybrid working opportunities.

So what will I be doing?

You’ll support the tax managers to meet their clients needs, providing administrative support to a number of processes and development of documentation, as well as managing some client communication directly.

It’s almost certain the person we are searching for has some previous tax admin experience. If you know your capital gains return from your tax return and are used to having conversations with HMRC, you could be ideal for this role.

With big business partners, come big numbers! So someone who is very good numerically and enjoys the pressure of working with accuracy would make a great candidate. Perhaps you can demonstrate this through qualifications or previous experience?

Perhaps you’ll be backed by AAT training or tax qualifications- or perhaps you won’t. But you will be able to demonstrate the professional persona to work within a financial and legal business where professionalism, reliability and trust are all key. You will, without doubt, be used to handling confidential and sensitive information.
