Systems Engineer
  • Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
  • Location: Coventry

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a proactive mindset and a dedication to self-improvement. The successful candidate will be crucial in shaping the future of vehicle systems and features through development, validation, and sign-off processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Develop hardware and software requirements for vehicle control systems.
  • Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to refine system attributes.
  • Participate in quality and robustness activities, including FMEA and fault tree analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of Electrical and Electronic architectures.
  • Validate and sign-off on vehicle systems, ensuring compatibility with other subsystems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software and calibration issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain systems, particularly hybrid and electric components.
  • Experience in system design, validation, and integration.
  • Proficiency in automotive product qualification standards.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize solutions.
  • Desirable: Experience with AGILE, MATLAB/Simulink, and automotive Functional Safety.
