Your new role
You will be responsible for managing our recently installed automation systems alongside our supervisory control and data acquisition system. You will also be responsible for our factory IT infrastructure and managing the disaster recovery process. Another part of the job will require you to take a proactive role in developing and future-proofing our systems in line with business requirements, alongside coaching and mentoring the team of engineers around you.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate needs to have a manufacturing Automation Specialist backed up with a minimum of a BSc in Engineering Systems or equivalent. Strong Project Management skills will also be required, so experience is favoured. Understanding and Functional knowledge of PLC's, HMI Programming and Autocad are also highly advantageous.
