Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client are keen to add a Systems Accountant to the current team on an initial contract. The successful candidate will manage the implementation of changes to existing finance system. This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the finance design of processes and agreeing with the finance team and vendor for implementation.

Key duties of the role include:
  • Manage and oversee all finance system changes, implementation, and testing.
  • Delivering the testing plans to ensure sufficient testing is performed and evidenced.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and oversee project plans, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Develop project plans and changes to be implemented on the finance systems.
  • Responsible for all testing plans and ensure testing is performed before systems go live with all changes actioned.
  • Manage the costs for the system upgrade.
Experience required:
  • ICAS / ACCA /CIMA Qualified Accountant with relevant PQE
  • Strong analytical skills and able to deal with a variety of financial reporting and finance system related queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working to challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
