Systems Accountant

Kenny Recruit are working with a leading provider of high-quality specialist support services for adults with complex learning disabilities and needs to find a Systems Accountant. Our client's mission is to ensure that every person we support can live richer, happier lives.

The company has been built through acquisition and organic growth from its first site in London to 45 services in South-East England. They currently support 300 individuals and have 900 staff with an ambition to grow through organic expansion and acquisition to 90 sites+.

An ambitious healthcare company who are looking to continue their expansion, looking for a qualified Accountant to join on an initial six month basis and be a key person in driving the implementation of our Sage Intacct implementation. You must have Sage implementation experience to be successful for this role.

Pay: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (6 month contract)
Location: North London (Islington) - 3 days per week in the office
Working hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm.

This broad role will include:

• Support the finance department in the implementation of Sage Intacct, from Sage 200.
• Full life cycle from detailing functional requirements through to creating test scenarios and ultimately user acceptance testing.
• Support the data migration activities.
• Creation of documentation to outline proposed changes.
• Understanding business processes and identifying areas of improvement.
• Developing a suite of reports both for finance and other departments.
• Oversee and maintain the integrity of financial systems, with a primary focus on Sage Intacct.
• Streamline and improve financial reporting processes by ensuring efficient and effective utilisation of the Group's systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other key business applications and ERP systems.
• The first point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Group's finance systems.
• Help build financial reports using tools such as Power BI to support reporting and decision-making processes both at Group and in business units.
• Provide training and support to all finance team members on the efficient and effective use of Sage Intacct.
• Propose and implement enhancements to optimise system performance and functionality.
