Systems Accountant

Robert Half are seeking a talented Systems Accountant to join a fast paced organisation and take charge of critical responsibilities related to acquisition support and system management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of new acquisitions into their business operations, as well as providing robust support for their finance systems. This position requires a combination of financial expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different regions.

Location: Central Bristol - (Hybrid working - 2 /3 days on site)

Duration: 3 Months

Role: Systems Accountant

Rate: £280pd - £300pd (Via Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mobilise new properties, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and time lines
• Manage bank account setup and payment gateways for acquisitions
• Coordinate data migration efforts and ensure alignment with their systems
• Document processes and conduct training for teams
• Conduct user acceptance testing for system developments
• Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Provide support for the system help desk
• Collaborate on finance report development with the IT data team

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in finance processes and system migrations
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to bridge communication between stakeholders
• Ability to work stand alone or within a team
