Sustainable Procurement Manager

Fantastic opportunity to play an integral role in building the sustainability infrastructure across procurement, using digital tools, and embedding sustainability in to processes and supplier relationships, playing a leading role in supporting delivering against the Net Zero ambitions of the organisation.

• As a subject-matter expert, you will support the Procurement team in ensuring that sustainability is considered throughout the sourcing process, from supplier on-boarding to contract management.
• Take ownership of the collation of Supply Chain sustainability data for internal and external reporting
• Play a key role within the procurement team being the first point of contact for all internal and external supply chain sustainability related queries, providing support to the Procurement team on sustainability matters and help to shape sustainability processes and systems

Person Profile

• You will have previous experience in a Supplier engagement role, preferably with a sustainability steer
• Broad ESG / Sustainability experience and understanding of topics such as climate change, Net zero, biodiversity, human rights, circular economy and carbon accounting would be beneficial but not essential.
• Experience of ESG / Sustainability reporting and engagement with ESG ratings and indices would be desirable

Salary up to £45,000 + 10% bonus - Opportunities for Hybrid working
