Are you a Sustainability Manager looking for a new role?

Would you like to work for a progressive and ambitious company?

I am supporting my client, who is looking for a driven Manager who is focused on long-term positive outcomes for the construction sector. As the Sustainability Manager, you will focus primarily on the environmental aspect of sustainability and will act as a deputy for the head of function, supporting the business to achieve ambitious environmental performance targets.

You will:

  • Lead the development & implementation of sustainable strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations & industry standards.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with government agencies.
  • Communicate the business sustainability performance & goals to external stakeholders, clients and the general public.
  • Provide guidance & training to all company employees.
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance is met.
  • Continue to elevate & improve the company sustainability performance.

Qualifications required:

  • Degree in environmental science, sustainability or related field.
  • Experience in sustainability management.
  • An excellent understanding of the current UK laws & regulations.
  • Experience working for a main contractor.
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Excellent leader.
