RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our charity client based in Nottingham for a Survivor Advocacy Support Worker - Accommodation Services. You'll play a vital role in providing holistic support to survivors of domestic violence.

This is a full time, temp ongoing role, offering a pay rate of £13.61 (unqualified) - £14.44 (qualified). You will be required to work various shifts (on a set rota) between 8am and 8pm Monday -Friday or 9am- 5pm dependant on the refuge). Weekend availability may be necessary where the contract requires it.

Travel around Nottinghamshire is required so driving license and access to car is essential.

Main duties:

  • Provide high-quality case work support, conducting risk assessments and creating individual safety plans.
  • Advocate for survivors with external agencies, ensuring their needs are met across various sectors.
  • Undertake housing management responsibilities, maintaining safety and security within our accommodation.
  • Work collaboratively within our team and with external partners to enhance service delivery and development.
  • Uphold the charities values of equality, diversity, and empowerment in all aspects of your work.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and managing complex caseloads.
  • A deep understanding of the issues facing women and children affected by domestic violence.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients.
  • Proficiency in IT, with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and personal development.
