BRC are working with a not for profit organisation who deliver social housing and care homes across the South West and South East. This role is London based covering patches including Luton, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes & Hemel Hempstead
  
Main Responsibilities:
 
  1. Responsible for taking the lead in managing the delivery of property investment, service and inspection and repairs services
  2. Carry out property inspections and investigate repair requests raised by customers, providing technical advice on defects including damp and mould issues
  3. Working closely with housing and care operations teams to ensure timely delivery of services and maintenance to properties, meeting property strategy targets
  4. Conduct property building surveys, providing advice on defects and disrepair
  5. Lead and manage the delivery of the repairs service, carrying out regular property inspections of the property condition and arrange for works to be carried out
  6. Ensure necessary repairs & planned works are delivered in a cost-effective manner and within timescales
  7. Assess properties to review future investment and repair planning, maintenance delivery, minor works and refurbishments
  8. Produce detailed reports on works required including works for remedial solutions
  
Job Requirements
  • Driver with access to own vehicle
  • Experience of surveying and/or professional qualification - HND/HNC
  • Proven experience working within social housing maintenance and planned investment sector, Contractor Side and/or client side.
