Our client is a reputable provider of Supported Living Services dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supported Living Manager to lead the team and play a key role in shaping the future of their organization.

As the Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our supported living services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to secure new packages, conduct assessments, manage staff effectively, negotiate fees, and organise rota's efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Development:

  • Identify and secure new packages for supported living services
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine individual needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the provision of person-centred care

Staff Management:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of support staff.
  • Provide supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Financial Management:

  • Negotiate fees with local authorities and other funding bodies
  • Monitor and manage budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability

Operational Oversight:

  • Organise and maintain staff rota's to ensure adequate coverage
  • Implement and monitor care plans to meet the highest standards of care.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within Supported Living or a similar care setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage staff, resources, and budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in securing new packages and conducting assessments.
