Supported Housing Officer
A well-established charity is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Buckinghamshire. This role will focus on supporting homeless persons, whilst they stay within temporary accommodation.
Length: Temporary to permnanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Shifts: 8am-4pm, 11am-7pm, 1:30pm- 9:30pm and one in 3 weekends

Location: High Wycombe
Role responsibilities:
• Deliver emotional and life skills based support, assisting service users with day-to-day tasks
• Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users
• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
• Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
• Carry out regular estate inspections
• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
• Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups
Essential requirements:
• An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children’s lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
• Knowledge of working with vulnerable young people
• Working knowledge of support plans and risk assessments
