Salary:                      £13.67 - £14.63 PAYE Incl. £15.22 Umbrella
The role
Do you want to work for an award-winning charity? Do you have experience managing a caseload of people with complex needs ranging from Homelessness, Mental Health, or Substance misuse?
BRC are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to help a leading complex needs support provider to manage their caseload.
Our client is looking for a support professional with relevant skills and experience in supporting service users in managing their tenancies, maximising their income, and support with assessments and referrals.
What they need
  • Processing referrals and undertaking triage assessments over the phone.
  
  • Support people accessing the service to complete their sign-ups, ensuring service users understand their rights and responsibilities to their tenancy agreements.
  
  • Ensure all new service users have a valid Housing Benefit Claim.
  
  • Provide advice and signpost to relevant agencies.
  
  • Empower service users to identify goals, targets, strengths, and develop key skills and confidence to improve independence.
  
  • Create, review, and update risk and needs assessments.
  
  • Develop knowledge of local support services and signpost service users to relevant external support.
