Pay rate:
£14.00 per hour during the week,

Shift Pattern:  Monday - Sunday Nights available

Some shifts available:
4pm - 9pm
10pm - 9am
9am - 8pm
10am - 6pm (Saturdays)

There can be some variation based on term/non-term time, as the individual you would be supporting is currently in college.

Location: Lincoln

Unfortunately we cannot provide VISAsponsorshipand we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Lincoln area.

We're thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate individual to provide care to a person we support in Lincoln. This role will be supporting a young lady who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy & severe Dystonia.
She also has chronic lung disease and requires tracheostomy and ventilation support.
This is a complex role and so applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.

Key Responsibilities

Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. At Team Brain Injury Support, you’ll be working with someone living with complex care needs and receive fully paid, on the job training. So, whether you’re an experienced support worker or completely new to the sector, you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills in a safe and trusted environment.
  • Support with all facets of daily living
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
  • Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
