Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Whitstable, Kent

Salary: £15.00 per hour weekdays, £16.00 per hour weekend daytime

Job Type: Permanent, Part time (20 hours per week)

About Us:

Monday, Thursdays, and alternate Wednesdays. 10.00 -18.00.

Ben Holden Ltd provides specialist Case Management and rehabilitation to individuals impacted by catastrophic injury.

We are currently supporting Mr A who needs the right person to join his team.

The Role:

Mr A is a lively, friendly, and caring individual in his mid-thirties who enjoys the company of others. Mr A does enjoy a lie-in each morning and then accessing the community, where he loves nothing more than a trip to his local coffee shop; Mr A believes that the 'stronger the coffee the better'. Mr A has an elderly house cat who he is enjoys caring for. Mr A has a brain injury, acquired when he was in his early teens. Historically Mr A required 24-hours support; however, he is now living independently with support throughout the week. Mr A currently has one support worker, and we are looking to increase his support package to two support workers.

Experience:

  • Experience of working with people and meeting their needs

Responsibilities:

  • To help and assist Mr A in the community
  • To help and Assist Mr A with his day-to-day activities if necessary

Benefits:

  • £15:00 per hour weekdays
  • £ 16.00 per hour weekend daytime
  • Mileage reimbursement for use of own vehicle
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro-rata)

  • On-going training and professional support and supervision
