Pay rate: £13.50 per hour (WEEKLY PAY) 
Shift Pattern: Shifts to be confirmed on interview – Need to be flexible. 

Requirements: 
Previous experience working with individuals with Autism and mental health diagnoses. This role will be supporting a young person with Autism. The individual has a great sense of humour, they enjoy going for long walks and they have a keen interest in bowling and playing pool. We will provide staff on a 2:1 24/7 basis.

You will need to have the ability to remain positive, on difficult and challenging days.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping and planning)
  •  Joining in at the gym and being involved in workouts.
  •  Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite bands, walking, places of interest etc.
  •  Watching plays with them and joining in active interests. (You will need to be willing to learn about these)
  • Helping with homework

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience of supporting individuals with Autism.
  •  Previous experience of supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses.
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Full UK drivers licence
