Join Our Team as an Interim Residential Child Care Officer in Jersey! �?

Are you a dedicated and experienced Residential Child Care Officer with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities? Look no further! About the Role: As an Interim Residential Child Care Officer, you'll be an integral part of our team, supporting children and young people in a small, friendly, and fun environment. You'll be working in our Children's Homes, offering a safe, warm, and welcoming space for up to 2 or 3 children, where they can grow, develop, and thrive.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential Experience:
    • 2 years recent experience in a secure unit/children's residential.
    • Previous experience as a residential support worker.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience around Learning Disabilities, peg feeding, medication trained, and gastronomy training.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Care is mandatory.
  • Driving License: Full driving license required (car not necessary).

Benefits and Remuneration:

  • Competitive basic hourly rate up to £22.50 per hour.
  • Additional pay for Bank/Public Holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours: 37.5 per week (with potential for 45-50 hours+).
  • Working Pattern: Shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • 6-month commitment required.
