Substance Misuse Support Worker
 
LOCATION:               Falmouth
HOURS:                     37.5 per week                              
SALARY:                   £11.80 - £14.23 PAYE
DURATION: Temp
START DATE:           ASAP
  
A leading Drug and Alcohol service is currently recruiting for experienced support staff. You will provide holistic support and regular key working for alcohol and opiate clients as well as providing access to opiate substitution prescribing for opiate clients.

  • To carry out needs and risk assessments enabling service users to reflect on their needs, and further aid their recovery + rehabilitation.
  
  • Close partnership working with various 3rd party support services.
  
  • To support and work jointly with local GPs to a caseload of clients.
  
  • Create and implement support plans based on their strengths, needs and aspirations.
  
  • To be responsible for providing Needle and Syringe Provision, the supply of naloxone and harm reduction information and advice
