Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Support Staff in East Riding!

As a Support Staff you would be required to offer support to students with SEN. You can be working in a specialised setting or in a mainstream environment helping to support on the student's progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence.

We are looking for dedicated support staff to work 1-2-1 with young people with SEN. This can be within a classroom environment, 1-1 or even home visits. Group work may also be part of the role

Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer-term cover.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Anlaby, East Riding
  • Position - Support Staff
  • Subject - KS2, Life Skills, Vocational
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) -
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part-time - Full Time and Part Time (excluding School holidays)
  • The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £80 per day
  • Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a UK school (desirable however not essential)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
