Atrium Healthcare is assisting a client in the Supported Living Sector, providing care for adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work within an established Management & Support team, ensuring compliance and safety in service delivery.

Role Overview:
As a Service Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting service seniors and developing their skills to run safe and effective services. Your person-centered approach will empower service users to lead independent lives, while ensuring their needs are met. This role involves remote working across various services in Essex, making a full driving license essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service seniors in running safe and effective services.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, CQC requirements, and company policies.
  • Facilitate lifestyle choices, daily living tasks, and well-being of service users.
  • Write reports and chair meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with professionals from health, local authority, and CQC.
  • Conduct audits to assess processes and outcomes.
  • Maintain understanding of relevant legislations such as MCA, DOL's, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety Act.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Health and Social Care.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care.
  • Ability to manage workload flexibly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel across Essex (mileage reimbursed).
