Salary:£21,260.00 - £22,378.92 per annum plus Essential Car User Allowance £1,350 per annum

Hours:37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (9 Month Maternity Cover)

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Specialist Support Coordinator to join our Specialist Support Team to support customers with additional needs to maintain their tenancies. You will be responsible for providing outcome driven, preventative services. You will work closely with internal and external teams, agencies and third-party service providers to ensure customers are able to access these services.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • To set up customer support package for customers to help support in maintaining their tenancies.
  • Low level work with customers with mental health needs that require support.
  • Signpost to a range of support services following an assessment on the needs of the household.
  • To evidence the impact of support for customers.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with other agencies and providers.
  • Pro-actively identifying support needs to vulnerable clients and refer to specialist officer or agencies when required.
  • To monitor the health, well-being and safeguarding of customers.

About You

  • You will have a passion for helping people and the ability to stay calm in a crisis.
  • You will be able to assess and make sound judgement relating to a person’s needs and support requirements.
  • You will have experience in working with Mental Health Services and Adults with specialist support needs.
  • You will have experience of working within a customer focused environment, have excellent communication skills with an ability to manage challenging situations.
  • You will understand legal requirements of the role including, but not restricted to confidentiality and data handling.
  • Full driving licence is required.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
