Pay Rate: £12.50 - £14 per hour (assignment rate) dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time, 08:30 am – 15:30 pm (may vary depending on assignment)

Main Duties of the Supply Teaching Assistant:

  • Aid teachers in delivering impactful lessons.
  • Offer guidance and encouragement to students during their learning tasks.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring personalised attention.
  • Assist with necessary administrative duties as assigned.

 Requirements of the Supply Teaching Assistant:

  • Preferred experience working with children or within educational contexts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to adjust to diverse classroom settings and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated patience and compassion in student interactions.
  • Readiness to cover assignments at short notice, displaying flexibility.
