Pay Rate: £13 - £15 per hour (assignment rate) dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time, 08:30 am – 15:30 pm (may vary depending on assignment), Late notice cover may be required.

Main Duties of the Supply Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant:

• Help students across different educational settings, encompassing classrooms, resource centres, and outdoor learning areas.
• Aid teaching personnel in executing lesson plans and utilising instructional resources.
• Assist students in achieving their individual learning targets, spanning academic, social, and behavioural aims.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish inclusive learning environments tailored to the diverse requirements of students.
• Keep precise records of student advancement and maintain open communication with teaching staff and parents/guardians.

 Requirements of the Supply Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant:

• Preferred experience working with children or within educational contexts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to adjust to diverse classroom settings and perform effectively under pressure.
• Demonstrated patience and compassion in student interactions.
• Readiness to cover assignments at short notice, displaying flexibility.
