Academics are looking to expand our pool of Newham based supply teachers who provide flexible staffing solutions to schools in their local area. We are currently seeing much higher than usual levels of demand in the Newham borough and need your help to make sure every child has access to high quality engaging lessons every day! Our clients range from small 1 form entry community based schools right up to 4 form entry schools that form significant parts of multi academy trusts so our supply teacher sneed to be able to adapt wuickly to varying situations.

Here at Academics we believe that people work best when they are in control so our team of supply teachers have the ability to change their availability weekly and will always strive to accommodate any preferences our team have, for example finding schools with parking or within 5 minutes of a major transport connection. The supply teachers we'd love to hear from have the following;

  • QTS
  • Recent experience working within primary education
  • Child workforce DBS that is registered with the DBS update service (Or willing to apply for one)
  • Recent teaching references
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Keen to work in the borough of Newham
