Job Title: Primary School Supply Teacher

Location: Goole, United Kingdom

Contract: Long-Term

Salary: £125-£150 a day

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Primary School Supply Teachers to work in schools across the Goole area. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of education for the pupils and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils across the primary age range.
  • Ensuring pupils are engaged and challenged in their learning.
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour management.
  • Providing constructive feedback to pupils.
  • Supporting pupils' emotional and social development.
  • Working with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
  • Adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant member of staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching across the primary age range.
  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Availability to work on an as-needed basis.
