Pay Rate: £130 - £150 per day (assignment rate) dependent on experience and qualifications

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Working Hours: Full-time,

Hours: 08:30 am – 15:30 pm (may vary depending on assignment)

Late Notice Cover: Availability for short-notice assignments is essential.

Main Duties of the Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons that align with curriculum requirements and captivate students' interest.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and abilities present within the classroom.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and collaboration.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures, including attendance recording and lesson planning, to maintain consistency and organisation in the educational process.

 Requirements of the Supply Teacher:

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Completion of an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
